Vicki Bacon, DirectorAs a founding member, Vicki has been involved in all aspects of the organization from day one…well, almost all! Her role was never about baseball – what??? Her vision was to create a fun, affordable family activity for all starting with her requirement to have a mascot. And speaking of family – her family has always been a huge part of the Swampbats! Son, Dan Moylan, was on the inaugural team in 1998 and later coached the team for several years. Her mom and Dad (The Fry Guy) were key volunteers for many years. Grandkids have grown up at the concession stand as “helpers”! Other family members and friends have joined the ranks as volunteers over the years. And we can’t forget her husband Dave who has been there for the Bats for whatever is needed! Vicki, who worked as a probate paralegal for the last 36 years, is looking forward to retirement prior to the start of the 2025 season…..which will enable her to travel, spend more time with her family and continue to support the BATS! |
