Our volunteers are our GLUE!

The SwampBats are a nonprofit organization led by a group of dedicated volunteers. The success of the SwampBats is attributed largely in part to this facet of the organization. We want to send out a huge "Thank You" out to all of our dedicated volunteers-- we couldn't do it without you! 

Our volunteer positions include:

Ticket takers/sellers

Concessions helpers

Grill cooks

Golf cart drivers

Lucky ticket / tennis ball toss sellers

Potato cutters (for our hand cut french fries!!)

Looking for a chance to have fun and earn some money for your organization? The SwampBats are looking for a few dedicated groups to make a 5+ game volunteer commitment to the SwampBats in exchange for a donation to your organization.

VOLUNTEER PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM

    The Keene SwampBats are proud to continue our Volunteer Partnership Program, developed by our Board of Directors in 2005. 

    The SwampBats are a volunteer-based nonprofit organization. Accordingly, it is not our policy to make monetary donations to other organizations.  However, we do realize that as a community we must work together to support one another's missions and goals in making this community a better place to live. Each year, the SwampBats are pleased to welcome several nonprofit groups to assist with the various tasks needed to run the Snack Shack.  Each shift runs for about three hours.  The ideal capacity for the Snack Shack is four volunteers.  The SwampBats would welcome two organizations per shift, each supplying two volunteers or one organization providing for volunteers.  For every person that fills a shift, the organization will earn $25.00, paid as a lump sum at the end of the season.    

    Important information to note:

• We ask that you have a core group of individuals from your organization that volunteer regularly. It is most effective for us to train a core group that then can just jump in and know the system.

• We encourage volunteers to wear a shirt that represents your organization. Please come dressed in comfortable, cool clothing and supportive sneakers.

• Volunteers need to be prepared to be on their feet for the time that they are working.  There are not a lot of opportunities to sit while on duty.  They all must be physically able to take on a variety of chores. 

• Be prepared to take on a variety of tasks – there are many jobs required to keep things flowing smoothly including but not limited to doing dishes, stocking coolers, waiting on customers, prepping food

• Each volunteer will be provided a meal on their shift. We have complimentary bottled water for all volunteers that is available at any time.  If anyone wants additional items, they must be purchased.

• At this time, we require all our volunteers to be 18 years or older. Children are not able to hang around in the snack shack.
